Our Story

"We are four mothers who were frustrated by the lack of local spaces that truly worked for both kids and parents. We wanted somewhere that combined high quality coffee, nutritious food and carefully considered play, so we built it ourselves. Everything at Epicland was designed by parents who know what matters."

"When it came to the interiors, we wanted something that felt calm but alive. Our spaces blend Asian inspired warmth with playful touches, and yes, the colours are a little mix matched. That is completely intentional. Play should not be rigid, and neither should the space children play in. The varied palette and curated play elements are there to spark imagination and make every visit feel lively and welcoming."

Meet the Sisters Behind Epicland!

Epicland! Play Cafe was born from a simple idea shared by four sisters, born and bred in Manchester, each a mother herself. Tired of searching for a place where they could enjoy a proper coffee while their children played safely nearby and never quite finding one that lived up to their expectations, they decided to create it themselves. A warm, vibrant space where parents can truly relax and little ones can play, explore and thrive.
